SAN FRANCISCO, August 31, Every HubSpot portal wakes up today inside an AI-first interface, with the classic theme (opt-in since June 30) auto-migrated for anyone who didn’t switch voluntarily. Breeze, the Prospecting Agent, and Buyer Intent are the default surface, not features to discover later.
The visual layer is only the entry point. Sidekick Strategies frames it as scaffolding for a deeper redesign rolling out over the next six months: a prioritized daily view, smarter CRM index pages, and an expanding roster of Breeze AI actions. The retired Breeze Assistant mobile app has been folded into a unified Breeze-and-search input.
The real news for small B2B teams sits underneath. HuboExperts reported on July 21 that the Prospecting Agent has left early access and is available on any paid portal through standard user permissions, with a new Seamless integration that surfaces net-new contacts matching a defined target persona. Buyer Intent picked up 20 new company news signals and can now read stakeholder and pain-point cues from deal emails, notes, and call transcripts. Breeze Projects was rebuilt around direct file uploads, @mentions of CRM records, and permissioned team collaboration.
The economics matter. Agents require Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise and burn HubSpot Credits at roughly $0.01 each: 100 credits to monitor one contact monthly with Prospecting Agent, 50 per Customer Agent conversation, 10 per Buyer Intent company, 10 per “Run Agent” workflow step. Starter includes ~500 credits monthly, Professional ~3,000, Enterprise 5,000–10,000. Unused credits don’t roll over, and every AI feature draws from the same pool. OnTheFuze warns that HubSpot’s default behavior auto-upgrades tiers on overage, quietly converting a busy week into a permanent subscription bump; the guide recommends pay-as-you-go at $0.01/credit or a hard monthly cap.
Elsewhere in the August wave: AI Invoice Prioritization went GA on August 7, Price Books on August 4, and a “Run Agent” workflow step remains in private beta. For context on how AI-mediated pipelines are reshaping downstream conversion, see AI search sends fewer visitors but they buy.
Today’s change is legible as a UI update. The credit meter is where it’ll actually be felt.
