Yext bundled a new small-business product into its Q2 FY2027 earnings release on September 1, launching Corvo AI, a free SMS-based marketing agent that texts local businesses recommendations on competitor moves and listing hygiene. The prototype went live in August at askcorvo.com and marks the company’s first product built directly for the SMB market rather than adapted down from enterprise.

The financial backdrop is steady: $111.1 million in revenue for the three months ended July 31, 2026, $34.0 million in adjusted EBITDA, and $440.8 million in annualized recurring revenue. Corvo is being positioned as the wedge into a market Yext has historically watched from a distance.

The framing is aimed at a real gap. A Corporate Ink survey cited alongside the launch reported that 88 percent of CMOs and VP-level marketers are being asked about AI visibility by their leadership or boards, while only 34 percent said they’ve a defined strategy. For the corner restaurant or two-person law firm, that number is closer to zero, and the tooling built for the enterprise end has always assumed someone whose job is to log into a dashboard.

An SMS interface skips the dashboard entirely. It also lands in a moment when AI-referred visitors convert at materially higher rates than traditional organic clicks, which reframes local AI visibility as a direct acquisition lever rather than a branding exercise.

“Every brand is heading toward the same future: agents executing marketing at a scale no team could reach on its own,” said Michael Walrath, Yext’s chairman and chief executive.

Broader enterprise availability of the company’s Scout capabilities is scheduled for September 30 at Yext’s Envision conference, where the SMB thesis will meet its first real audit.
